What not to Wear - Jesus Edition Ephesians 4:17-32
Anyone old enough to remember “What not to wear”. Don’t lie, I know you are. Whether you ever watched it is another matter.
The show was about coaching people to become more practical and fashionable with their attire. Not high fashion, just simple tips on keeping your personality and comfort, but still looking nice. I admit, I kinda liked the show. Maybe because I like loud and flashy colors and patterns and they probably would have liked to coach me. Maybe I’m a closet fashion snob. I dunno.
Paul also wants to coach us on what not to wear. Except he’s more concerned with the spiritual side. Take off your old way of doing things and put on Christlikeness.
That’s what maturity in Jesus looks like; and maturity in Jesus looks good.
