Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God; and the second greatest it to love other people.

Today I began a series of messages on love: love for God, God's love for us, our love for each other and our love for the world. I don't know how many messages there will be in this series, I only know that this is what God is putting in my heart for this year: Be a people who love. Take this commandment seriously. The world doesn't care about a church that's angry or has a bunch of rules to enforce; but the world might care about a church that actually shows the love of God to people.

This message looks at loving God and asking, "Am I showing I love Him by my actions?"

Much of the Bible is easy to say, but harder to live out. Truly loving God with all we have is one of those things. Every Christian would say they love God. Do their actions prove it to be true? I can't point any fingers because I need to ask myself that question. Maybe you do, too?
