Canada Day Parade

We did it! Will a lot of help from everyone in the church we were able to get our float into the Canada Day Parade at Fort Saskatchewan.

I had a lot of fun singing peppy songs about God's goodness to the people lined up on the streets.

The reponse seemed really positive with people waving, smiling and bobbing along to the music.

We wanted to invite everyone to a party in the park in August but our stickers weren't back from the printer in time.

Also, we ran out of candy about half way through - those kids think it's Halloween or something! ha!

Anyway, it was a lot of fun, and here's a big thank you to everyone who helped out and made it possible.
